Scout Search Group

A complete website redesign for Scout Search Group, a direct-placement and executive-search firm serving employers and job seekers. I reorganized the experience around two distinct audience journeys, designed the interface in Figma, built the responsive website in Wix Studio, and implemented technical SEO and conversion pathways. Comparing identical January 1-August 9 reporting periods, sessions increased 136.5% from 2025 to 2026.

Project overview

Scout Search Group needed a website that could serve two distinct audiences without making either feel secondary. Employers needed to understand Scout's recruiting services, industry experience, and hiring process. Candidates needed direct access to available positions, resume submission, and recruiting support.

I rebuilt the experience around clearly separated employer and candidate journeys. Dedicated service and industry pages strengthened the information architecture, while live job listings, targeted calls to action, and structured contact paths connected each visitor with the next appropriate step.

My contribution

I led the redesign from strategy through launch, including audience planning, information architecture, user journeys, visual design in Figma, responsive development in Wix Studio, technical SEO, conversion-path planning, quality assurance, and post-launch optimization.

Results

Comparing identical calendar periods, sessions grew 136.5% from 460 to 1,088 between January 1-August 9, 2025 and the same period in 2026. Unique visitors increased 135.3% from 385 to 906, while pageviews increased 84.6% from 1,053 to 1,944.

Organic-search sessions more than doubled over the same period, increasing 101.5% from 196 to 395. Organic-search visitors increased 111.7% from 171 to 362, and 100% of recorded sessions came from unpaid channels.

Growth accelerated beginning in April 2026 and remained elevated through July. The analytics establish the traffic trend but do not independently prove that a single design, content, or SEO change caused the increase.

Full comparison, January 1-August 9, 2025 to January 1-August 9, 2026:
Sessions: 460 to 1,088, an increase of 136.5%
Unique visitors: 385 to 906, an increase of 135.3%
Pageviews: 1,053 to 1,944, an increase of 84.6%
Organic-search sessions: 196 to 395, an increase of 101.5%
Organic-search visitors: 171 to 362, an increase of 111.7%

What I would look at next: traffic and audience growth substantially outpaced pageview growth. Pages per session declined from approximately 2.29 to 1.79 across the comparison periods, creating a clear next optimization opportunity. Fewer pages per session is not automatically negative. It may indicate that visitors are reaching what they need more efficiently, or that landing-page journeys should encourage deeper exploration. Distinguishing between the two requires further behavioral analysis, and that is the next piece of work I would prioritize.

Tools used

  • Figma - Full visual design system, built first and imported directly into Wix Studio.
  • Wix Studio - Responsive site build, page structure, and conversion-focused layout.
  • Technical SEO - Site structure, on-page optimization, internal linking, and search-visibility strategy.
  • Wix Analytics - Same-period traffic and channel measurement used to verify results.
